Starkville, Miss- Sophomore Annick Zouma led the Braves with two of the four shots. The Braves held their own with the Mississippi State Bulldogs for the first 34 minutes of the game before the Bulldogs found the back of the net to take a 1-0 lead. All four shots of the Braves came in the first half.
The Bulldogs added a late insurance goal at the 67th minute to extend their lead to 2-0.
Junior Bailey Perales earned the start in goal, facing 22 shots and three saves. Renata Da Rosa came off the bench and recorded two saves. Bridget Sakyi, Annick Zouma, and Rebecca Kwoba played the full 90 minutes.
