McCullough finished his career as the all-time leader in field goals made in school history with 45. He also ended as No. 3 all-time in punting yards with 7,483. McCullough made the go-ahead field goal, a 23-yarder, in the 2019 SWAC Championship to put Alcorn up 25-24. He earned a spot on the All-Conference Second-Team. He ranked second in the SWAC in punting average (40.7), booted seven punts of at least 50 yards and totaled 2,440 punting yards on the year. McCullough also made 11 field goals on the season. He was a three-time SWAC Special Teams Player of the Week winner.

In 2018, McCullough tied the school’s all-time record for field goals made with 34. He pulled even with Wilfredo Rosales who made 34 field goals from 1977-80. Additionally, McCullough tied his own single-season school record of 17 made field goals on the year year. McCullough punted 67 times for 2,704 yards with a long of 60 yards. He blasted 11 punts for over 50 yards, and 25 punts landed inside the 20.

In 2017, McCullough broke the school’s single-season field goal record with 17 made. His 1.42 field goals made per game was fourth in the FCS. McCullough was also top-25 in the country in points per game (7.8), and top-20 in punting average (42.5 yards). He went on to earn All-Conference Second-Team accolades. McCullough also punted 54 times for 2,294 yards which was an average of 42.5 yards per boot. He cranked 16 punts for over 50 yards with a long of 58. McCullough’s field goal long is 49 yards which is one yard shy of the school record.
