Became one of the premier distance runners in the SWAC in 2012. All-SWAC performer in cross country as a junior in 2012. Scored points for the Lady Braves at the 2012 SWAC Outdoor Championships in the 5,000m and 10,000m races. Holds the school record in the 5,000 meters. Great local talent who is expected to run the 800m this season.

2012-13: Outdoor – Sat out majority of the season because of a knee-injury but still managed to compete at the 2013 SWAC Championships … Ran a personal best 5:02.58 at the Ole Miss Invite … Posted a season best 19:48 at the Louisiana Classics. Cross Country – Placed 6^th and earned All-SWAC 2^nd Team honors at the 2012 SWAC Cross Country Championships with a time of 18:56.6 … Broke the school record in the 5,000 meters with a time of 18:49.8 at the Northwestern State Demon Invitational … Finished 6^th at the Mississippi College Choctaw Open with a time of 19:07.89 … Posted a personal best time in the 6,000 meter run at the Watson Ford Invitational with a time of 24:03.

2011-12: Outdoor – Ran a season best 5:03 in the 1,500m at the Jim Mize Invitational … Placed 7^th in the 5,000m with a personal best 19:47.88 … Finished 6^th in the 10,000m with a personal best time of 45:26.38.

Prep: Participated in cross country and track and field at Warren Central High School. Won various district and regional titles and made four straight state championship appearances in her years as a Lady Viking.
