Biography

2021 - HBCU Combine Participant

In 2019, Solomon Muhammad earned a spot on the STATS FCS All-America Third-Team. He was both an HBCU All-America First-Team and SWAC All-Conference First-Team selection for the second year in a row. Muhammad wrapped-up 87 tackles to go along with a team-high 11 tackles for a loss, 3.0 sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. He started in all 13 games at middle linebacker.

Muhammad was the 2019-20 Men's Brave Award winner on campus. He tallied a 4.0 GPA in the spring of 2020.

Muhammad won SWAC Defensive Player of the Week twice. The first came after the victory against Prairie View A&M where he turned in 18 tackles including 15 solo. Muhammad also had 14 tackles - 12 solo - at Grambling State.

In 2018, he was an HBCU All-American and a SWAC All-Conference First-Team honoree. He finished second on the team in tackles with 64 despite missing two games. He also wrapped up 4.0 sacks and 9.0 tackles for a loss. It came after a breakout year in 2017 where he notched 52 tackles in just seven games including 6.5 tackles for a loss, 2.0 sacks, two forced fumbles and an interception.
