LORMAN, Miss. – Capping the 2019 season on a high-note, the Alcorn State University women's soccer program broke the school's single-game scoring record with a 6-3 win over Mississippi Valley State.
The six goals topped the previous school record of four, set four times.
Junior
Mireya Gonzalez, an All-Conference Second-Team selection, recorded a hat trick with three goals and an assist. Senior Angelica Dugan notched two goals, while senior
Gemma Dunn also struck for a tally.
The Lady Braves honored six seniors at halftime.
