Updated Gameday/Fan Information

LORMAN, Miss. – The Alcorn State University athletic department has released updated information in regards to fan attendance for all events for the winter/spring seasons for 2021.

For tonight's women's game, cost of admission will be $5.

Alcorn State University is committed to providing a safe and positive experience for all fans at athletic events with the intention of observing and being cautious of many health and safety concerns.

Information updated on December 22, 2020: Indoor arena attendance is limited to 10 percent or less of full capacity, not to exceed 1,000 persons, to ensure at least 6 feet of separation between those from different households. 

Alcorn State University Athletics will operate with a reduced capacity at Jacks Spinks Stadium and the Davey L. Whitney Complex for the Spring 2021 season in compliance with state and local guidelines. As a result, our athletics facilities anticipate being able to seat up to the percentage of capacity as allowed by the state's most recent Executive Order. As a result, Alcorn athletics will abide by the following guidelines:

Fans

Fans should conduct self-screenings prior to leaving home. This should include an "at-home" temperature check and review of potential COVID-19 symptoms: cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pains, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, or a fever of greater than 100.4 degrees please stay home and no refund will be issued.

If you experience any of these symptoms after entering the stadium or arena, please report to the stadium or arena First Aid Stations for an appropriate evaluation.

All fans will need to enter through the front entrances only as the court levels is strictly for working personnel.

Alcorn athletics will enhance cleaning and sanitization procedures throughout the stadium and arena prior to, during and after all games. 

Hand sanitizing stations will be provided throughout the stadium, along with increased directional signage to encourage social distancing.

Face coverings (over the nose and mouth) will be required as a condition of all fans at any time and in any area within our athletic facilities.

Cashless payment for purchases, including concessions, is strongly encouraged.

Fans must use mobile ticketing for contactless entry at gates.  

No fans or former players will be allowed on the court at any game.

All seats will be socially distanced in the arena. A family will be allowed to sit together in groups of four only.
