LORMAN, Miss. – Alcorn State University football had a student-athlete earn Southwestern Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week. Linebacker
Terreance Ellis snapped up with the award for the week of Oct. 20 with his performance against Jackson State University.
In the Braves' victory, Ellis racked up 10 tackles (six solo) and one interception against the Tigers.
For the season, he has accumulated 99 tackles, two forced fumbles, two recoveries, and one interception.
