Alcorn State Women’s Basketball Unveils 2025–26 Schedule

Lorman, Miss. – Alcorn State University women's basketball has announced its 2025–26 schedule, highlighted by challenging non-conference matchups, tournament action, and a full slate of Southwestern Athletic Conference competition.

The Lady Braves will open the season at home on Monday, November 3, against Nicholls State University at the Davey L. Whitney Complex. The home stand continues November 5 when Alcorn hosts Mississippi University for Women before traveling to Tuscaloosa to face the University of Alabama on November 10.

Alcorn's non-conference schedule includes additional home games against Arkansas Baptist College (Nov. 12) and Rust College (Dec. 1), along with road contests against LSU (Nov. 20), UAB (Dec. 15), and Ole Miss (Dec. 28). The Lady Braves will also participate in the Emerald Coast Classic in Destin, Florida, November 24–25.

Conference play begins on January 3 on the road against Jackson State. The Lady Braves will also visit Alabama State (Jan. 8), Alabama A&M (Jan. 10), Bethune–Cookman (Jan. 22), Florida A&M (Jan. 24), Mississippi Valley State (Feb. 5), Arkansas–Pine Bluff (Feb. 7), Texas Southern (Feb. 26), and Prairie View A&M (Feb. 28).

Alcorn's SWAC home schedule includes Prairie View A&M (Jan. 15), Texas Southern (Jan. 17), Grambling State (Jan. 29), Southern University (Jan. 31), Florida A&M (Feb. 12), Bethune–Cookman (Feb. 14), Jackson State (Feb. 21), Mississippi Valley State (Mar. 3), and Arkansas–Pine Bluff (Mar. 5).

The regular season concludes March 5 before the Lady Braves travel to Atlanta, Georgia, for the Southwestern Athletic Conference Tournament, scheduled for March 9–14.
