JACKSON, Miss. – Rarely does a season end on a three-game winning-streak, but the Alcorn State University baseball program was riding high after a back-and-forth 11-10 win over Alabama A&M.
The Braves built a 9-3 lead after six innings. The Bulldogs stormed back to jump in front 10-9, but Alcorn scored twice in the bottom of the eighth to grab a dramatic victory.
It completed a three-game sweep for Alcorn over the Bulldogs, and ended up being the season finale as the rest of the season was called off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Sophomore
Tyler Daniels went 4-for-4 with a walk, three runs and two RBIs in the win. Senior
Hunter Wilson finished 3-for-5 and notched the go-ahead RBI.
