SWAC Announces 2024 Volleyball Predicted Order of Finish

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The Southwestern Athletic Conference has announced its 2024 Women's Volleyball Predicted Order of Finish as voted by the league's head coaches and sports information directors.
 
Jackson State was selected to finish first, followed by Florida A&M (2^nd), Alabama State (3^rd), Prairie View A&M (4^th) and Alabama A&M (5^th) to round out the top five preseason poll team selections.
 
Bethune-Cookman was tabbed to finish in sixth place, while Grambling State (7^th), Texas Southern (8^th), Southern (9^th), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (10^th), Alcorn State (11^th) and Mississippi Valley State (12^th) were selected to finish 7-12 respectively.
 
Defending SWAC Women's Volleyball Tournament Champion Jackson State led the league in first place votes with a total of ten. Florida A&M claimed four first place votes, while Alabama State (3), Prairie View A&M (2), and Alabama A&M (1) also tallied first-place votes. The 2024 Preseason All-SWAC Volleyball team is scheduled to be announced on Tuesday, August 20^th.
